It's More Than a Game ....
My name is Mrs Greer and I will be your House Welfare Manager from September onwards. I am here to ensure your time at The Cooper School is the best that it can be.
Feel free to blog me with your worries/queries and I will do my best to answer them for you.
I look forward to working with you. Here's to Bobby Moore House.
Don't forget parents can blog too!
when do we have to get to coper school 8.30 or 20 to 9
ReplyDeleteThe School day will begin at 8.40 a.m. for registration. It is therefore advised that you start arriving at school by 8.30 a.m.
ReplyDeletePlease could you tell me who the form tutor for form 5 is and do we go to their room on Monday 6th September in the morning?
ReplyDeleteI will shortly be posting a blog containing information of form tutors and rooms so watch this space!
ReplyDeletewhat if we get lost and cant find our way around or will there be people escorting us to our classrooms?
ReplyDeletei am a girl so do i still have to get football boots?
ReplyDeleteFirst of all don't worry, there will always be someone you can ask whether that will be Reception staff, another student, a teacher, myself, or your befrienders. Also don't forget that most of the time you will be following other students of your year group to and from your lessons. There is also a map printed in your Planner which you will be given on your first day.
ReplyDeleteFor health and safety reasons, both girls and boys will be required to have football boots for certain PE lessons.
ReplyDelete2 questions- 1. What is the girls P.E top? Does it have a logo, and what colour is it?
ReplyDelete2. What kind of bag do we have to have to hold all of our things.
PE information can be found on the main Cooper School website by following the link from Department, choosing PE and then Kit and Changing Policy. For ease of reference for indoor activities you will need a white or navy blue T‐shirt(preferably a Cooper T-shirt) and for outdoor activities a navy blue rugby shirt.
ReplyDeleteAll items for the Cooper PE kit can be purchased from Cross Embroidery of Banbury.
With regards to the type of bag you should have I suggest something practical such as a backpack which can be worn on your back without putting strain onto it. Remember some days you will have more items than others so you need to be able to carry it safely.
can we have blades on are football boots
ReplyDeleteYes blades are permitted on football boots. PE department have confirmed this.
